The Hospital General Universitario de Alicante (HGU Alicante) showcased the real-world impact of the REVERSE clinical trial at the Spanish SEDISA 2025 conference. 

Medical Director Dr. Diego Díez presented data proving that participation in the project significantly optimised the hospital’s PROA activities, leading to major increases in hand hygiene compliance (up to 85% in internal medicine) and reductions in MDRO infections, including a substantial drop in MRSA and Carbapenem-resistant P. aeruginosa. 

The presentation validated clinical research as a fundamental tool for improving the quality of care.
