Professor Trubiano is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Director of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Austin Health. He is the Head of Infectious Diseases at the University of Melbourne and laboratory head for the Centre for Antibiotic Allergy and Research. His research engages pragmatic clinical trials and health services programs for antibiotic allergy and infections diseases, with a focus on the implementation of findings into Antimicrobial Stewardship Practice. Professor Trubiano also leads the development of novel immune diagnostics and pharmacogenomic predictors for severe antibiotic-associated T-cell mediated drug reactions.
