The REVERSE Romania team hosted a dedicated symposium at the 12th Congress of the UMF Carol Davila, focusing on the project's integrated approach to AMR. 

Chaired by Prof. Dr. Adriana Hristea, the session provided an overview of preliminary results from the six Romanian hospitals involved in the trial. Presentations covered all three core REVERSE strategies: 

1. Microbiology Diagnostic Stewardship (MDS), 
2. Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) (emphasizing hand hygiene), and 
3. Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS), 

detailing progress on HCAI reduction and resistance surveillance.
