Day 1 - Friday, 20th November 2026
Antimicrobial Resistance - Results from the REVERSE Approach
08:30 - 10:45 Session 1: Global Consequences of Antimicrobial Resistance The conference opens with an introduction to the REVERSE trial, practising medicine in the era of emerging antimicrobial resistance, and a panel discussion on the varying country perspectives participating in the project. 11:15 - 12:45 Session 2: Throwing Everything at the Problem This session will include presentations on the role of infection prevention and control, antimicrobial stewardship, and rapid diagnostics. Speakers to be confirmed. |

14:00 - 15:30 Session 3: Handling Complexity Delegates will explore the do's and don't of the implementation of complex interventions, the simplicity of measuring bacterial colonisation, and the standardisation of diagnostics and microbiology. Speakers to be confirmed. |

15:50 - 18:00 Session 4: Was a it Worth it? The day's final session focuses on cost-effectiveness, asking was it worth it? Explore presentations on the transferability of REVERSE into low- and middle-income settings and finish the day off with oral abstract presentations. Speakers to be confirmed. |
